Welcome Jennifer Velasco – Our Newest Answered Prayer!

The TECH Team Advantage family is excited to welcome Jennifer Velasco to the staff of TECH Team Advantage!
TECH’s theme for 2025 was “Praying for the next generation of laborers,” based on Luke 10:2. It has been both fun and encouraging to see God answering those prayers! He continues to bring us the right people in His time and in His way. While we were specifically praying for a graphic designer, Jennifer and her husband, Keil, were praying that God would provide work where she could use her skills. So for both the Velasco family and TECH, we can confidently affirm that God is always on time — never early, never late!
Throughout Jennifer’s application process, one theme was communicated consistently by her and those providing references: she desires to do what God wants her to do. In other words, she has a true servant’s heart. I was encouraged when she told me, “I can’t say I’m excited to raise missionary support, but I’m not opposed to it.” To be willing to step out in faith, trusting God to supply her needs, speaks volumes. Our leadership recognized immediately that Jennifer and her husband are people who serve the Lord well. This heart to serve is exactly what TECH Team looks for.
God continues to use TECH in a unique niche of ministry by providing professional services at very low cost to the ministries we serve. Since our founding in 1969, we have served in 149 countries and all 50 states. Our project count has surpassed 17,000 — but even more important are the hundreds of people who have come to know our precious Savior as a result. Our team includes registered architects, licensed engineers, graphic designers, software developers, and others with highly developed skills who have been called by God to serve Him.
TECH pays no salaries, which enables us to keep our fees low and allows each organization to use their resources to further their mission goals. Each of our staff provides their own financial support, with many receiving help from churches or individuals like you. As a 501(c)(3) mission, we receive and receipt donations designated for our missionaries, and they receive 100% of those funds.
As we anticipate the coming of our Lord Jesus, these are wonderful days to be involved in His work! Our project load is full, and we are grateful that God has directed Jennifer our way. We look forward to seeing all that He has in store for her and for TECH. Please pray for Jennifer as she begins building her support team — and would you prayerfully consider joining with them?
We often say that we look forward to standing by the “River of Life,” eating fruit from the trees that bear a new crop each month, with people who are there because of our efforts here. What a joy that will be!
